Our director and co-founder, Emmanuelle Werner Gillioz, spoke at the symposium "New approaches for sustainable service strategies" organized by Artiset - the federation of service providers for people in need of support, held in Biel/Bienne.

Her presentation highlighted the potential of young people from a migrant background as a valuable pool of resources, skills and candidates.

The strengths of these young talents are often untapped in the job market. Emmanuelle shared the solutions developed by Yojoa to support their professional inclusion.

Our managing director and co-founder Emmanuelle Werner Gillioz was invited by Renaud Malik and Thibaut Schaller on the RTS program Forum to discuss the retreat of certain companies on the subjects of diversity and inclusion, and the resistance of many other companies in French-speaking Switzerland who are taking a public stance in favor of maintaining these policies.

On March 13, 2025, the Qualife Foundation and Yojoa organized a roundtable around the topic of diversity and inclusion in recruitment, entitled "The key to better recruitment and innovation".
The event, moderated by Martina Chyba, brought together around 50 companies, who were able to take stock of the D&I theme and receive practical solutions from the 6 specialists present∙e∙s. The evening was illustrated live by the talented Papancucul.

Manuel, our Young Talent Manager, and Rustam, a young person from a migrant background, were invited by CEC Emilie-Gourd to discuss migration-related issues with 4th-year students. The escape game, created by the school's students and teachers, follows a similar path to that of a person from a migrant background. Students listened to Rustam's personal account of his journey from Afghanistan to Switzerland. The aim of this meeting was to gain a better understanding of the difficulties faced by people from a migrant background. Manuel, for his part, was able to talk about Yojoa's work and how she helps young people in their job search.

In this article, RTS presents a series of reports on young people from migrant backgrounds and the various initiatives in French-speaking Switzerland aimed at facilitating their integration, notably through internships, training and mentoring programs. Yojoa's Atiq is profiled.
